Purpose:

The Recruiting Manager is responsible for creating strong business partnerships with key decision makers at prospective clients, leading the full life cycle recruitment process. The Recruiting Manager develops multiple sourcing channels, including candidate pipelines, to attract the best active and passive candidates, while leveraging technology to ensure an effective and efficient process. Responsible for building and maintaining excellent relationships with both hiring managers and candidates (both internal and external). The Managing Lead Recruiter is instrumental in creating and executing recruiting strategies, and working with direct reports to develop their network and enhance their recruiting/lead generating skills. This individual acts as a back up to the Manager of Talent Acquisition, leading and guiding both team and clients though the Recruiting lifecycle and daily priorities/tasks.

Outside of regular department activities, you may be pulled into mini-projects related to various Syssero Inc business needs in alignment with your passions, strengths, growth opportunities, and overall needs of the company. The employee will demonstrate an overall average rating of 3 or higher in interpersonal skills defined below. The Recruiting Manager will connect with their management team to develop Quarterly Rocks (personal and department goals) that will help develop their professional skills and further their career. Successful and timely completion of Personal and Departmental Rocks may impact merit bonuses, eligibility for promotion, and more.

Accountability
(Essential Functions)

● Understanding Syssero’s service offerings to discuss with consultants and potential clients, as needed.
● Active management of direct report databases, ensuring that all references and requirements are met.
● Provide prioritization to direct reports and Talent team, as needed, to ensure successful submissions and placement of active listings.
● Build strong collaborative relationships with hiring managers, providing timely and high quality support throughout the process.
● High level direction of the W2 Hiring process for both Professional Services and Operational Hires. Act as Quality Control agent ensuring we engage with the “right” candidates aligned with the values of Syssero, Inc.
● As needed, review submittals of resumes from Recruiters to ensure quality.
● Screen candidates and gather all necessary criteria from candidates as stipulated by Management. Pass any viable candidates to direct reports, as needed.
● Maintain a strong social media presence on LinkedIn, engaging contacts in the ecosystem and sharing Syssero’s materials where appropriate.
● Provide insight and ongoing training to direct reports.
● Work with Marketing team, as needed, to ensure Brand is attracting and capturing top talent and accurately capturing Recruiting wins.

 

Maintaining Relationships & Generating Leads

● Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing candidates. and passing off viable contact to direct reports as is necessary for their continued growth and success.
● Maintaining and documenting all contact with candidates on current assignment., and managing the same effort in direct reports.
● Sharing pertinent and/or pressing client information to Sales/Talent Managers and Directors in a timely manner.
● Anticipating database needs based on yearly software update, yearly processes, etc. – ensuring that Syssero has options for any/all client needs.
● Utilizing recruiting networks to generate leads for the Sales and AM Departments, and working in collaboration with Account Executives to get timely and useful information regarding potential clients.

 

Client Relationships

● Identify staffing needs, with both new and existing clients
● Provide clients with recruiter expertise and advice
● Support clients through recruiting, best practices
● Be the liaison between client needs and Recruiters, as needed
● Work with Account Management and Professional Services, as needed, to respond to resourcing requests both from clients and form internal teams at Syssero

 

Internal Projects & Communications

● Meeting weekly and monthly goals as set forth by Management, including regular check-ins with established talent.
● Develop and implement new strategies to improve Recruiting function of direct reports.
● Deliver disciplinary action and/or SEPs to further improve success of direct reports and ensure the team is efficient in all activities.
● Maintaining accurate records in CRM system related to the opportunity stage ensuring all relevant contact types are accounted for.
● Manage the Talent team in cleaning/refining database and gathering all intel needed including submittal information for open roles.
● Maintaining accurate records and activity reports, as requested by Executives and Board members.
● Assist Sales Department with any additional projects related to Recruiting, Business Development or CRM organization.
● Provide reports, dashboard, scorecard and KPI results for Executives and Board.
● Meet with Direct Reports weekly, quarterly to ensure successful completion of rocks, assess skills and completion of departmental/personal rocks.
● Attend both Company and Department meetings to collaborate with other leaders, and to identify/solution potential issues.

 

Management

● Direct and oversee Sales staff to ensure that they are motivated and trained to carry out their responsibilities to the required standard.
● Drive staffing, training, goals, and performance evaluations.
● Delegate responsibilities to ensure staff members grow as capable participants.
● Develop internal staffing strategy for program expansion and career paths for exceptional Sales employees.
● Aligns work with strategic goals. Conducts cost-benefit analyses. Demonstrates knowledge of market and competition. Displays orientation to profitability. Understands business implications of decisions.

Requirements

Supervisory responsibilities
2-3 Direct Reports

● Weekly and/or bi weekly check in with all direct reports
● Ongoing training and/or role play
● Quarterly audits of direct report database to ensure health and widespread coverage
● Set personal quarterly rocks for all direct reports
● Developing SEPs, as needed, to ensure continued growth of direct reports.

Work environment
100% remote

Physical demands
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Travel required
50% travel. Regular travel consists of at minimum two, in-person, all staff events, one of which is required to attend in person. The location of these will vary depending on the agenda, number of staff, and the ultimate goal of the event. Travel will be overnight for multiple nights. In addition, there may be client-related travel or other Syssero related travel as needed. All arrangements are company paid.

Education and experience
Required – Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or university, 4-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 2 years of management experience.
Preferred – Working knowledge of Workday, Salesforce and LinkedIn Recruiting Lite preferred.

Work authorization/security clearance requirements
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
