HR Business Partner-Synneca
Purpose:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) at Synneca is a dynamic professional responsible for overseeing a wide range of HR functions to ensure efficient operations, enhance employee satisfaction, and support organizational objectives. This role involves close collaboration with employees, managers, and leadership to address workforce needs, implement HR policies, and maintain compliance with employment laws.
The HRBP also plays a critical role in fostering a thriving workplace environment while supporting the unique needs of Synneca and its partner organizations, Syssero and Systics. Success in this role requires strong interpersonal skills, deep business acumen, and the ability to navigate complex organizational challenges.

Collaboration is key, as this role works cross-functionally with employees and leadership teams across Synneca, Syssero, and Systics to integrate HR excellence with a strong people-first approach.

Essential Responsibilities:

Employee Onboarding and Offboarding
- In partnership with the Enterprise Support Coordinator, support the onboarding processes to ensure new hires integrate seamlessly into the companies’ culture.
- Oversee a seamless offboarding experience, including conducting exit interviews, ensuring compliance with company policies, revoking system access, and facilitating knowledge transfer to maintain continuity
Employee Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, resolving workplace issues professionally and confidentially.
- Build strong relationships with employees and management.
- Provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and performance management.
- Promote a positive work environment by fostering open communication and addressing conflicts effectively by acting as a liaison between employees and management when necessary.
HR Policy Implementation and Compliance
- Administer company policies while ensuring compliance with local labor laws.
- Update policies as needed to reflect evolving legal requirements or organizational changes.
- Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Ensure adherence to all employment laws and regulations across supported entities (Synneca, Syssero and Systics).
- Conduct regular audits of HR processes to maintain compliance with internal standards.
Performance Management
- Support managers in conducting performance reviews and setting development goals for employees.
- Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and productivity.
Training and Development
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs for employees.
- Assist in leadership development initiatives to support organizational growth.
- Support career development initiatives to enhance employee skills and growth.
Compensation and Benefits
- Oversee benefits administration, ensuring employees receive accurate information about their options.
- Collaborate with finance to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll.
- Manage requests for leaves of absence and educate employees in the company provided benefits that support these leaves.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with compensation regulations.
HR Analytics
- Maintain accurate employee records using Workday.
- Generate reports on HR metrics such as turnover rates, engagement levels, and training outcomes.

Travel Required
- <20% travel. Regular travel consists of an in-person, all staff event. The location will vary depending on the agenda, number of staff, and the goal of the event. Travel will be overnight for multiple nights. In addition, there may be client-related travel or other company-related travel as needed. All arrangements are company paid.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with employees across all organizational levels.

- Advanced problem-solving skills for resolving complex employee relations matters.
- Analytical mind
- Proficient in HR technology platforms (such as Workday and payroll systems) as well as Google Workspace applications.
- Solid understanding of employment laws and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated discretion and ability to handle sensitive employee data and confidential information.
- Experience with HRIS Technologies and related business tools (Workday, Payroll software, etc.) to streamline operations, enhance employee engagement, and support business growth.
- Demonstrated experience supporting multiple entities within a consulting or services organization.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in human resources with increased responsibility in each role.
Work authorization/security clearance requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
