Purpose:
This role is integral to the seamless execution of the company’s marketing strategies. As a Marketing Content Manager, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to enhance brand visibility and market engagement. Working closely with the Sales and Account Management team, as well as our Services Department, your creativity and organizational skills will propel our campaigns forward, ensuring each initiative aligns with the overarching company goals. Your contributions directly influence how our brand resonates with our audience, making you a vital player in our growth narrative.
The Marketing Content Manager position is designed for those who thrive in dynamic environments and have a passion for driving results through innovative marketing solutions. By conducting in-depth research and staying abreast of industry trends, you’ll propose effective strategies to elevate our brand narrative across multiple platforms. Your role is not just about maintaining our current market presence, but also expanding it by identifying new opportunities and leveraging your skills to capture them. Whether working independently or as part of a team, your efforts will help solidify our brand’s leadership in the industry.
Outside of regular department activities, you may be involved in mini-projects related to various Syssero Inc business needs, in alignment with your passions, strengths, growth opportunities, and overall needs of the company. The employee will demonstrate an average rating of 3.5 or higher in interpersonal skills, as defined below. The Marketing Content Manager will connect with their management team to develop Quarterly Rocks (personal and department goals) that will help develop their professional skills and further their career. Successful and timely completion of Personal and Departmental Rocks may impact merit bonuses, eligibility for promotion, and more.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Own content creation for various social media channels.
• Research and stay on trend for social media marketing strategies. Ensure content is a well-rounded mix of video, graphic and thought leadership.
• Assist in the development of a calendar of content that targets specific markets/potential clients. Work with Sales, AM departments to alter and evolve target audiences/seasonality.
• Respond on social media channels to engage the client and prospect base.
• Research new tools and automation potentials to streamline outreach and engagement.
• Work with the Department Lead and third party resources/other department leads to update websites and plug-ins as needed.
• Provide ideas for brand penetration into new markets and platforms.
• Assist in strategy and implementation of new marketing efforts, including email campaigns/hosting webinars or LinkedIn Live etc
• Collaborate with the Department Lead to organize and plan all special events and sponsorship events.
• Attend events, when possible, to capture pictures and video of the company and clients.
• Seek sponsorship opportunities with clients and partners in the Workday ecosystem.
• Update and create collateral for the company as needed and directed.
• Work with Marketing Department Lead and third party firms to improve SEO strategy and ensure content is improving ranking.
• Gather analytics for board and stakeholders. Partner with the Department Lead to create new scorecard items. Monitor monthly/weekly trends.
• Other projects in support of Company Rocks as needed

Work environment
100% remote
Physical demands
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Travel required
<25% travel. Regular travel consists of at minimum two, in-person, all staff events, one of which is required to attend in person. The location of these will vary depending on agenda, number of staff, and the ultimate goal of the event. Travel will be overnight for multiple nights. In addition, there may be client-related travel or other Syssero related travel as needed. All arrangements are company paid.
Education and experience
Required – Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or university, 4-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred – Working knowledge of Workday, Salesforce and LinkedIn Recruiting Lite preferred.
Additional eligibility requirements
Marketing degree and/or applicable experience.
History working with any of all of Syssero’s current Marketing tools is a plus: Canva, Adobe, Klaviyo and Google Analytics.
Work authorization/security clearance requirements
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
