  2. Define Your Attributes
     Identify the data you want to collect. Examples include:
  • Destination city or location
  • Number of attendees for a business meal
  • Venue name for conferences or events
  1. Link Attributes to Expense Items
     Assign attributes to specific expense categories (e.g., link “Airline” to flights, or “Venue Name” to events). You can also make them required for submission.
  2. Test and Optimize
     Before launching org-wide, test with a small group to ensure the fields are intuitive and add value.
