Hi Workday world. I’m Ashly Goor, Senior Talent Lead at Syssero. I began my career as a Technical Recruiter at Syssero in 2021, and now have the privilege of managing, refining, and perfecting the interview process for both Functional and Technical Workday consultants, as well as Project Managers, at Syssero. If you’re thinking about joining our team, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. Our goal is to ensure you feel prepared, confident, and excited about embarking on this journey with us!
At Syssero, our interview process is designed to be a two-way street. We want to get to know you, but just as importantly, we want you to know us! Here’s how it all breaks down:
Your first conversation will be with the people you’d work alongside—your potential teammates. This is your chance to hear firsthand what a day in the life at Syssero looks like.
What makes this round special? The candid, open dialogue. You can ask anything—how their roles have evolved, what team dynamics look like, or even about our quirkiest traditions. We want you to walk away with a real sense of the culture and camaraderie here.
Next, you’ll meet with either a manager or a solution architect, depending on your career trajectory. If you’re eyeing a leadership path, you’ll get insight into career progression and expectations. If you prefer the individual contributor route, a conversation with a solution architect will help you see how your expertise fits in.
This round focuses on understanding your strengths and growth potential. Our managers don’t just ask about skills—they share their own journeys, leadership philosophies, and what makes Syssero a great place to build your career.
Finally, you’ll meet with our leadership team—the visionaries behind Syssero’s mission and growth. This is your opportunity to hear their stories, understand the company’s direction, and see how your values align with ours.
Beyond skills, our leadership team is passionate about finding individuals who embody our core values: protection, balance, integrity, empowerment, and diversity. These are the qualities that make someone a true fit at Syssero.
To complement our interviews, we include a skills self-assessment. This isn’t a test—it’s a way to highlight where you excel and where you’d like to grow. We encourage honesty, because self-awareness is key to a successful career. And if your ratings spark our curiosity, we will ask extra questions to showcase your expertise. It’s all about setting you up to shine.
At Syssero, we believe in managing the whole person. That’s why, after hiring (yes, after!), we use personality assessments like DISC and the Enneagram. These aren’t meant to filter candidates—they’re tools to help you thrive by matching you with managers and teams where you’ll be most supported and successful.
The candidates who thrive in our process have a few things in common: they come prepared, they’re authentic, and they lean into curiosity. Here are my top tips:
✅ Know Our Values: Check out Syssero’s website and LinkedIn page. Aligning with our core values is key to long-term success here.
✅ Ask Strategic Questions: Interviews should be conversations, not interrogations! Here are some great questions to ask:
✅ Be Yourself: We value authenticity. Show us who you really are—we’re not just hiring for skills, we’re hiring for cultural fit and potential.
At Syssero, we don’t just talk about our core values—we live them. Protection, balance, integrity, empowerment, and diversity shape how we interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders alike. When you align with these values, Syssero isn’t just a workplace—it becomes a community.
Our interview process is about discovering how we can grow together. Joining Syssero isn’t just about taking the next step in your career—it’s about making an impact.
