A Note From Ryan Massie
“As I step into the role of President, I’m reminded of two quotes I rolled out to the team upon my arrival at Syssero in 2017. One from Warren Buffet, “Predicting rain doesn’t count. Building arks does.” and another from a former colleague of mine in academia, “The work is never done, it’s only due”.
Our growth as a company was as predictable to me as the rain in Buffet’s quote – Workday’s increased market share combined with our unique approach to service delivery. Deploying consultants who have all been on the end-client side of Workday. We’ve walked in the shoes of our clients, just further down the road of Workday application self-sufficiency. So it stands to reason that the “arc” is not our process, protocol, or product. The “arc” is our people, and I have to tell you, I couldn’t have asked for a stronger ship.
Every day I’ll work hard to steer this ship, alongside our CEO Amber Lowry, in the right direction – to serve Syssero however you may need. We’ll plot a course together, avoid the sandbars of unnecessary risk, and reach destination after destination after destination. Fine-tuning as individuals and an organization as we go, because “The work is never done, it’s only due”.
I’m honored to be a part of this team. I’m thankful for the work behind us, proud of the work in action, and eager for the work ahead.”
